Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinarians to serve pet families throughout Bellevue, Kirkland - Washington. Join a doctor-led, family-owned practice that emphasizes autonomy and compassionate care in patients’ homes.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent and active license in applicable state.
• Ability to travel to scheduled in-home visits and work independently.
• Empathetic, professional communication through difficult end-of-life conversations.
• Weekend rotation availability and ability to lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice, palliative care, and euthanasia within service area.
• Travel independently to scheduled appointments in mobile vet setting.
• Perform exams, medications, sedation, euthanasia, and documentation.
• Guide families through quality-of-life decisions and aftercare options.
• Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with Heartstrings team.
