Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses to join as 1099 Independent Contractors, delivering in-home care to energy workers. This role emphasizes compassionate, holistic care delivered in patients' homes, building meaningful relationships and supporting families.

As an In-Home Health Care RN, you will assess patients, educate families, assist with ADLs, document in the EMR, administer medications, and coordinate with case managers and physicians, all while maintaining safety

Qualifications

Active RN license in state of practice.
Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current BLS Certification.
Must pass state and federal background check.
Professional Liability is required.
Strong problem-solving and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments with personalized, comprehensive care.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) with dignity and respect.
Coordinate schedule with patients, aligned with plan of care and hours.
Monitor changes in patient symptoms and behavior and report promptly.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician.
Communicate with Case Managers and collaborating physicians to ensure a unified approach.
Maintain accurate patient logs in the EMR system.
Provide emotional support to patients and family members.
