Job summary

Floor Coverings International of Houston Heights seeks an In-Home Sales Flooring and Design Associate to visit clients at their homes, discuss projects, and guide selections using our sales tools on tablet and laptop.

You will drive sales, manage customer relationships, and coordinate with installation teams to ensure satisfaction. Competitive compensation includes base pay plus commissions, with growth in a family-oriented team.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of in-home and/or outside sales.
• Strong drive to exceed sales targets.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Competitive mindset with a strong will to succeed.
• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Available for homeowner appointments during evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients in homes to discuss flooring projects.
• Utilize our sales system with tablet, laptop and software.
• Serve as the primary contact for all flooring service inquiries.
• Coordinate installation schedules with Office Manager.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and coordinate with Install Manager for project success.
• Build lasting relationships and referrals for ongoing growth.
