Job summary

Empire Today is seeking a Field Sales Manager to serve as the subject matter expert for delivering our in-home experience through a dedicated team of Flooring Consultants. The role blends in-field coaching, real-time observation, and hands-on development to drive customer satisfaction and market results.

You'll spend significant time in the field coaching ride-alongs, translating observations into actionable development plans, and modeling best-in-class selling techniques to grow consultants'

Qualifications

• Two years of sales leadership and coaching experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in consultative or in-home selling.
• Ability to observe, diagnose and improve sales behaviors.
• Proven ability to coach and influence performance in field-based environments.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to self-motivate and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• In-field coaching and development, 50% field time with ride-alongs to improve customer experience.
• Observe real-time customer interactions and identify opportunities to improve engagement and prospecting.
• Deliver actionable coaching to strengthen engagement and in-home experience.
• Lead performance coaching with measurable KPIs and development plans.
• Model best-in-class sales behaviors through live demonstrations and live appointments.
