Job summary

Health Connect America is seeking a Georgia-based Therapist to provide high-quality behavioral health services—assessment, treatment planning, therapy, and collaboration with schools and community partners—to support children, families, and individuals in need.

You will deliver individual, family, and group therapy, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure documentation aligns with regulatory standards, all while advancing person-centered, culturally responsive care.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field required.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with children and/or families, including internships.
• Must be eligible for professional licensure in Georgia (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW).
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and evidence-based practices.
• Experience providing family-focused, community-based, or child/adolescent behavioral health services preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments and use evidence-based tools to identify client needs and create individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based interventions for anxiety, depression, trauma, and other conditions.
• Maintain engagement with clients and families, monitor progress, and adapt interventions to achieve positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, schools, healthcare providers, and community resources for coordinated care.
• Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, referrals, and documentation per standards.
