Job summary

Health Connect America is seeking a Georgia Therapist to work with children and families, delivering comprehensive behavioral health services in homes, schools, and communities. You’ll conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide youth- and family-focused therapy using evidence-based practices.

Role requires a Master’s degree in a related field, and eligibility for Georgia licensure (LPC/LMFT/LCSW) with at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with children and/or families, including internships.
  • Must be eligible for professional licensure in Georgia as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
  • Experience providing family-focused, community-based, or child and adolescent behavioral health services preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current vehicle insurance required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and utilize evidence-based assessment tools to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment recommendations.
  • Create treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives tailored to each individual's strengths, challenges, and circumstances.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based interventions that address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and other mental health conditions.
  • Maintain consistent engagement with clients and families, monitor treatment progress, and adjust interventions as needed to support positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, schools, healthcare providers, and community resources to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
  • Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, referrals, and connections to community resources while maintaining timely and accurate documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
