Job summary

PALS OHIO, LLC is seeking an In-Home Care Specialist to provide ongoing support to adults with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You will implement the Individual Service Plan under supervision, assist with homemaker and personal care, and promote independence.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, an Ohio driver license, background check clearance, and at least one year of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or GED is required.
• Current Ohio driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Criminal background verification with acceptable clearance.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule and provide supervised care.
• Ability to work as a team member and communicate effectively.
• At least one year of healthcare experience or experience with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely provide transportation as needed.
• Supervise and assist adults with daily activities in home/community.
• Document transportation, billing and program notes.
• Attend staff meetings and support the care team.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality and model respectful care.
