PALS OHIO, LLC. in Ohio seeks an In-Home Care Specialist to deliver person-centered support under an Individual Service Plan. You will supervise and assist adults with developmental disabilities in home and community settings, focusing on safety, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include transportation, documentation, and teamwork with the interdisciplinary staff. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Ohio driver license, and current training certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED.
• Current Ohio Drivers License with acceptable driving record is required.
• Criminal Background verification with acceptable clearance.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule and provide responsible supervision and assistance to adults with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to work as a team member and communicate in a positive and effective manner with persons served, support staff, and others.
• Maintains current and annual training requirements.
• Must have at least one (1) year of healthcare experience or working with disabilities individuals.

Responsibilities

• Safely provide transportation as needed.
• Supervise and support individuals in home/community settings.
• Document transportation, billing and program information.
• Attend regular staff meetings and contribute to team goals.
• Model guidelines of company philosophy and people-first language.
• Maintain certifications and training as required.
