PALS OHIO, LLC. is hiring an In-Home Care Specialist to support individuals with disabilities in home and community settings. This role emphasizes hands-on assistance, safety, and documentation while fostering independence and community participation.

Responsibilities include personal care, health support, meal planning, mobility assistance, and transportation. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of healthcare experience, and a valid Ohio driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of healthcare experience or experience with individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to work as a team and communicate positively with persons served, support staff, and others.
• Experience maintaining documentation and applying safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Safely provide transportation as needed.
• Ensure all safety equipment is in good working order.
• Provide individual supervision and support.
• Document transportation, billing, and program records.
• Attend regular staff meetings and participate in training as required.
• Maintain CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention, and Behavior Support Plan certifications.
