Pals A Chrysalis Health Company in Columbus, OH is hiring an In-Home Care Specialist to provide hands-on support under each person’s Individual Service Plan. This role involves supervision, transportation, health and personal care, and life-skills development in home and community settings.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, an Ohio driver's license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED.
• Current Ohio driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Criminal Background verification with acceptable clearance.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule and provide responsible supervision and assistance to adults with Developmental Disabilities.
• At least one year of healthcare experience or working with individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely provide transportation as needed.
• Ensure safety equipment is in good working order.
• Responsible for Individual supervision/support.
• Responsible for documentation, including transportation, billing, and program documentation.
• Contributes to and attends regular staff meetings.
• Promotes a supportive environment by modeling company guidelines, people-first language, empowerment, and fair treatment.
