Job summary

PALS OHIO, LLC. is seeking an In-Home Care Specialist in Gallipolis, OH to provide direct support to adults with developmental disabilities.

You will implement each person’s service plan, assist with homemaker tasks, health care, personal care, and life skills in the home and community. You will work as part of a team, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold safety and confidentiality while delivering compassionate, person-centered services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED.
• Current Ohio Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Criminal Background verification, with acceptable clearance according to applicable rules and requirements.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule and provide responsible supervision and assistance to adults with Developmental Disabilities.
• Ability to work as a team member and communicate in a positive and effective manner with persons served, support staff, and others.
• Maintains current and annual training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely provide transportation as needed.
• Insure all safety equipment is in good working order
• Responsible for Individual supervision/support
• Responsible for documentation, including but not limited to, transportation, billing and program documentation.
• Contributes to and attends regular staff meetings.
