Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Design Studio Specialist to inspire customers, guide them through one-on-one consultations and close sales at the cash wrap. You will promote ongoing engagement and encourage brand connections.

You will leverage design expertise to craft personalized room designs, present plans, and stay informed about current promotions to meet sales and productivity targets. The role emphasizes exceptional service and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, clienteling and customer follow-up skills.
• 1–2 years of customer service and retail sales experience.
• Experience in working with the elements of design preferred.
• Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience coordinating complex large orders across sales channels.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home to drive store sales.
• Perform productive in-home consultations including accurate space measurement and assessment.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs, style, preferences and space.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions to achieve and exceed sales goals.
• Assist customers with services including gift wrap, registry, catalog/internet orders, special orders, back orders, and furniture orders.
• Demonstrate superior product knowledge of the Design Studio assortment.
