Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Design Studio Specialist for the Kansas City area. You will inspire customers to express themselves in their homes, bringing the shopping experience to a seamless close at the cash wrap and promoting ongoing engagement with our Brand.

You will assist clients one-on-one in-store and in-home, creating thoughtful design plans that fit their living spaces. The role emphasizes strong clienteling, product knowledge and a high standard of service across multiple sales

Qualifications

• Strong communication, clienteling and customer follow-up skills.
• Ability to coordinate complex large orders across sales channels.
• Experience in design preferred.
• Proven ability to prioritize and multitask.
• 1–2 years of customer service and retail sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in in-store and in-home design consultations to drive store sales.
• Take accurate measurements and assess client living spaces during consultations.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs, style and space.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to meet sales goals.
• Provide services including gift wrap, registry, orders, and furniture deliveries with exemplary service.
• Demonstrate product knowledge of the design studio assortment.
