Job summary

Pottery Barn Kids is seeking a Design Studio Specialist to inspire customers and guide them to express their home style. You will help clients in-store and in-home, close sales at the cash wrap, and promote ongoing engagement with our brand.

You will demonstrate design expertise, present plans based on client preferences, and stay current on promotions to meet sales goals. Excellent communication and the ability to handle multiple orders across channels are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience.
• Strong communication, clienteling and follow-up skills.
• Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders across multiple sales channels.
• Experience in working with elements of design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in store and in-home consultations to design living spaces and drive store sales.
• Accurately measure and assess clients' living spaces during in-home visits.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs, style, and space.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions to achieve sales and productivity goals.
• Provide exemplary service including gift wrap, registry, catalog/internet orders, and furniture orders.
• Demonstrate product knowledge across the design studio assortment.
