Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Design Studio Specialist to inspire customers and finalize sales at the cash wrap. You will conduct in-store and in-home consultations, crafting design plans that meet client needs and space.

The role emphasizes delivering World class service and promoting ongoing brand engagement. Candidates should have 1–2 years in customer service and retail sales, with strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, clienteling and customer follow-up skills.
• Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders within a variety of sales channels.
• Experience in working with the elements of design preferred.
• Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience, (specialty retail preferred, but not required)

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home regarding design to drive store sales.
• Perform productive in-home consultations including accurate measurement and assessment of client living space.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs, style, and space.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to achieve and exceed sales goals.
• Assist customers with services including gift wrap, gift registry, catalogue/internet orders, and furniture orders.
• Demonstrate superior product knowledge of the design studio assortment.
