Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking a Design Consultant Trainee for the Greater Michigan market. You will conduct in-home sales consultations, presenting Renewal by Andersen products and installation options in a 90-minute session.

You'll start in a multi-week training program before transitioning to a Design Consultant role. The role offers a lucrative earnings potential with uncapped incentives, a flexible schedule, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong persuasive skills with ability to overcome objections and close sales.
• Excellent interpersonal communication; deliver world-class homeowner experience.
• Value collaboration and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive mental attitude and drive to exceed goals in a competitive industry.
• Basic computer/iPad skills required.
• Must have a valid state driver's license or ability to obtain one.
• Must be able to lift up to 53 pounds and sit for long periods during travel.
• Meet and maintain sales metrics and performance expectations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home sales consultations, 90-minute sessions, presenting window/door solutions.
• Drive personal vehicle for in-home appointments, up to 1,800–2,500 miles monthly.
• Attend sales and branch meetings and trainings.
• Support the project process with documentation, orders, and changes.
• Use company software and tools following security and confidentiality policies.
