Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking a Design Consultant Trainee to join our Pittsburgh market and guide homeowners through Renewal by Andersen window and door solutions. Trainees participate in a multi-week training program to learn our sales process before transitioning to a fully qualified Design Consultant role.

Role involves 8–12 appointments weekly, extensive in-home visits, and a strong emphasis on listening, emotional intelligence, and closing skills.

Qualifications

• Strong persuasive skills with ability to close sales.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude and goal-driven in a competitive market.
• Basic computer / iPad skills required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and in-home state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home sales consultations to design replacement window/door solutions.
• Drive personal vehicle to in-home appointments, up to lengthy miles.
• Attend sales and branch meetings and trainings.
• Support sales project process including documentation and order changes.
• Use company software and tools; maintain confidentiality.
