Job summary

Anderson Plumbing, Heating & Air in San Diego region is seeking a Comfort Advisor to guide homeowners through HVAC solutions, educate on energy efficiency, and drive sales growth. You will meet clients in their homes, assess needs, and design tailored systems that fit lifestyle and budget.

This role requires in-home visits, field mobility, and collaboration with installation teams. A valid driver's license and commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer care are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience with proven ability to close deals
• Ability to build authentic relationships with residential customers
• Strong communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
• Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and lifting objects
• Stable work history with consistent success and strong work ethic
• Motivation, integrity, and physical aptitude for field work

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to assess HVAC needs and provide tailored comfort solutions
• Build strong customer relationships by educating clients on products, services and options
• Serve as primary point of contact throughout the project with follow-up to ensure 100% customer satisfaction
• Develop sales proposals that are accurate, complete, and transferable to installation team
• Negotiate and close projects to meet or exceed budgeted goals and support growth
• Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions in ServiceTitan
• Collaborate with office and installation teams for smooth project execution
• Use Microsoft Office for reporting, documentation, and communications
• Attend company meetings and participate in trainings
• Maintain required licenses or certifications
• Work occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate customer schedules
• Maintain professionalism on job sites and while operating company vehicles
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed to support customers
• Possess valid driver's license
