Job summary

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate In-Home Caregivers, PCAs, HHAs or CNAs to join our team. You will provide essential personal care, medication reminders, and companionship in clients' homes, helping maintain independence and safety.

Candidates must be 18+, have a valid driver's license and auto insurance, and be able to read and follow care plans. We offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, flexible schedules, and direct deposit.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client laundry as needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure client safety
• Report significant changes in the client's condition directly to their supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with client feeding when required
• Monitor and record client temperature
• Assist client's with ambulation
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offer bathing assistance
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading
