Job summary

Altra Homecare Group in Indiana is seeking compassionate In-Home Caregivers to join our team as PCAs, HHAs, CNAs, or entry-level caregivers. You will provide essential personal care services in clients' homes, following care plans and documenting care provided.

This position offers flexible hours, weekly pay, and benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, with eligibility for overtime and holiday pay. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client laundry as needed.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Ensure client safety.
• Report significant changes in the client's condition directly to their supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with client feeding when required.
• Monitor and record client temperature.
• Assist client's with ambulation.
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols.
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Offer bathing assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.
