Job summary
Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate In-Home Caregivers to join our team as PCA, HHA, CNA, or general in-home helpers. You will provide essential personal care, medication reminders, safety checks, light meals, and companionship in clients' homes across Indiana.
A driver’s license and auto insurance help with visits, and no prior experience is required. We offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, competitive weekly pay ($14–$17/hr), overtime and holiday pay, flexible
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
- Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
- Comply with training requirements per State and Federal laws.
Responsibilities
- Assist with client laundry as needed.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Ensure client safety and report changes.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
- Monitor and record client temperature.
- Assist with ambulation and ROM exercises.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to care protocols.
- Follow privacy and infection control guidelines.
- Assist with bathing and light housekeeping.
- Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.
