Job summary

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate In-Home Caregivers (PCA/HHA/CNA) to help clients in their own homes across Indiana. You will provide personal care, medication reminders, meals, mobility support, and documentation per care plans.

Requirements include being 18+, a valid driver's license with auto insurance, and ability to read and follow instructions. We offer benefits, weekly pay ($14–$17/hr), overtime and holiday pay, flexible schedules, and direct deposit.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client laundry as needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure client safety
• Report significant changes in the client's condition directly to their supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with client feeding when required
• Monitor and record client temperature
• Assist client's with ambulation
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offer bathing assistance
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading
