Job summary
Altra Homecare Group is hiring compassionate In-Home Caregivers to join our community-first team. Positions include PCA, HHA, CNA, and In-Home Caregiver, with or without prior experience, to deliver tailored in-home care for clients in their homes.
You will assist with activities of daily living, medication reminders, safety monitoring, light meals, ambulation, and companionship, while documenting care and following care protocols. We offer comprehensive benefits and flexible schedules.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
- Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
- Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.
Responsibilities
- Assist with client laundry as needed.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Ensure client safety.
- Report significant changes to supervisor.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when required.
- Monitor and record client temperature.
- Assist clients with ambulation.
- Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols.
- Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
- Offer bathing assistance.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship, including letter-writing and reading.
