Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients at home in the Gresham area. The role offers day shifts Monday through Friday, with shifts from 8am–8pm and flexible scheduling based on availability.

Earn $23–$25 per hour, with paid training, mileage reimbursement, and weekly pay. We provide ongoing support, hands-on training, client matching, and travel time compensation to help you thrive in a caring, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care or caregiving preferred.
• Must pass state and national background checks.
• Must own a smartphone and use mobile apps.
• Ability to lift 10–50 lbs and assist with transfers.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and light housekeeping.
• Help clients bathe, dress, and groom.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities.
• Transport clients to store or appointments.
• Monitor client condition and report changes.

Pay: $23-$25 hr. depending on care given.

Current Needs

Day shifts M-F highly needed

• Shifts are between 8am-8pm, the more availability you have, the more shifts open to you
• Caregivers willing to work with clients who smoke (both indoors and outdoors)
• Caregivers willing to work with pets in client's home
• Drivers who can transport in their own vehicle required
• Behavioral or memory care experience a plus
• Bilingual a plus

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments (driving required)
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• Oregon only – If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!

Requirements

• 18 years+
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely.
• Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Able to transport clients in their own vehicle
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
• Have a valid drivers license, auto insurance, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle
