Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking caregivers to support clients in the Sandy, OR area. Day shifts (M-F) are in high demand, with most starts between 8am and 10am. Pay ranges from $20 to $21 per hour, with paid training and mileage reimbursement.

We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and 24/7 caregiver support to help you balance life and work. No experience? No problem—hands-on training is provided, and you’ll be matched with clients based on your availability and preferences.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs and up to 50 lbs
• Must own a smartphone
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (household chores, cooking, bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Transport clients to stores or appointments as needed
• Monitor and report on client condition

Skills

Transport clients in own vehicle

Pay: $20-$21 hr. depending on care given.

Paid training and milage reimbursement

Current Needs:

Day shifts M-F highly needed

• Most shifts start between 8am, 9am or 10am
• Caregivers willing to work with clients who smoke (both indoors and outdoors)
• Caregivers willing to work with pets in client's home
• Drivers who can transport in their own vehicle required
• Behavioral or memory care experience a plus
• Bilingual a plus

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments (driving required)
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• Oregon only – If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!

Requirements

• 18 years+
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely.
• Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Able to transport clients in their own vehicle
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
• Have a valid drivers license, auto insurance, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle
