Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking caregivers for day shifts on weekdays in the Sandy area. Pay is $23-$25 per hour with paid training and mileage reimbursement.

Drivers with own vehicle are needed; experience with clients who smoke or with pets is a plus, and bilingual candidates are welcome. We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, consistent hours and pay, 24/7 caregiver support, hands-on training, and client matching to fit your availability and strengths.

Qualifications

• 18 years+
• Able to lift 10–50 lbs occasionally
• Own a smartphone with mobile app
• Able to pass state and national background checks
• Able to transport clients in own vehicle
• Complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
• Have valid driver’s license, auto insurance, clean driving record, reliable vehicle

Responsibilities

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on client condition

Our Gresham Branch services Maywood, Hazelwood, Fairview, Troutdale, Boring, Sandy, Corbett and nearby surrounding areas!

Pay: $23-$25 hr. depending on care given.

Paid training and milage reimbursement

Current Needs:

Day shifts M-F highly needed

• Shifts everyday between the hours of 8 AM - 8 PM. The more availability you have, the more shifts you can pick up.
• Caregivers willing to work with clients who smoke (both indoors and outdoors)
• Caregivers willing to work with pets in client's home
• Drivers who can transport in their own vehicle required
• Behavioral or memory care experience a plus
• Bilingual a plus

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments (driving required)
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• Our hiring process is fast and simple! If hired, you will be scheduled for orientation at your branch. Once you have completed onboarding, orientation, and training, you can start working with clients!
• Oregon only - If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!

Requirements

• 18 years+
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely.
• Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Able to transport clients in their own vehicle
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
• Have a valid drivers license, auto insurance, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle
