Family Resource Home Care in Eugene, OR is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our award-winning team. We offer flexible scheduling, comprehensive training, and ongoing support to help you grow while delivering high-quality in-home care to clients.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift 10–50 lbs.
• Own a smartphone capable of using a mobile app.
• Able to pass state and national background checks.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes).
• Cooking and/or serving meals.
• Help clients bathe, dress, and groom.
• Provide companionship through activities and hobbies.
• Transport clients to stores or appointments as needed.
• Monitor and report on clients' condition.

Our office is located in Eugene, and we proudly serve Eugene, Springfield, Junction City, Harrisburg, Veneta, Vida, Creswell, Cottage Grove, and the surrounding areas. We offer multiple shifts and do our best to keep you working close to your preferred area!

Pay Range: $21-$23.50hr

What We’re Looking For In Caregiver Applicants

• Willingness to perform higher levels of care — not just light/companionship, including peri/personal care and transfers, Hoyer, gait belt, or be willing to learn
• We encourage candidates that have specialized expereince with experience in Alzheimer's and dementia care.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance to transport clients in their own vehicle – mileage reimbursement provided!
• Availability needed weekdays and weekends, daytime hours between 4:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.; weekend availability is a huge plus
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) applicants are strongly encouraged to apply
• Shift examples include (but are not limited to): 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., 8:0 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Caregiver Job Duties

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. on rare occasions
• Must own a smartphone capable of downloading and using a mobile app
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed

Oregon only:

If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with nurse-led medication training before working with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!
