Family Resource Home Care - Portland East Location is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our award-winning team. We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and hands-on training to help you thrive while delivering best-in-class in-home care.

As a caregiver, you will assist with daily living activities, transport clients to appointments, manage household tasks, and provide companionship—while upholding safety and a personal touch that families trust.

Qualifications

• 18 years+ required.
• Ability to lift 10–50 lb (occasional).
• Must own a smartphone with app access.
• Pass state and national background checks.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, clean driving record, and client transportation responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes).
• Cooking and/or serving meals.
• Help with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies.
• Drive clients to store or appointments as needed.
• Monitor and report on client condition.
• Assist with other activities of daily living as assigned.

Family Resource Home Care - Portland East Location

Serving the greater Portland Metro area across Multnomah and Clackamas Counties, including Clackamas, Happy Valley, Troutdale, Gresham, Gladstone, Milwaukee, N Portland, NE Portland, SE Portland, Canby, Molalla, and Fairview

Pay Range: $21 - $23.50/hr. + paid training and milage reimbursement

Current needs

• Every day (between the hours of 8 AM - 8 PM). The more availability you have, the more shifts to pick up
• The more availability you have the more opportunities to pick up shifts. Part time also available
• Caregivers with experience in Hoyer's, Memory Care and Behavioral, a plus OR willing to train
• Caregivers comfortable with pets and smokers in home!
• 18 years+
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely.
• Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record to get to client visits
• Able to transport clients in their own vehicle required

Caregiver Job Duties

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)

• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition
• Other activities of daily living as assigned

Additional Information

• Oregon only - If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!
