Family Resource Home Care in Gresham, OR is seeking caring caregivers to support clients at home across Maywood, Hazelwood, Fairview, Troutdale and surrounding areas.

We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and comprehensive paid training. Drivers with own vehicle are welcome, and bilingual candidates are a plus.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift 10–50 lb.
• Own a smartphone and use a mobile app.
• Ability to pass state and national background checks.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) at clients' homes.
• Provide companionship and daily household support.
• Transport clients to appointments or stores as needed.
• Follow care plans and report on clients' conditions.
• Communicate with the care team for client wellness.

Our Gresham Branch services Maywood, Hazelwood, Fairview, Troutdale, Boring, Sandy, Corbett and nearby surrounding areas!

Pay: $23-$25 hr. depending on care given.

Paid training and milage reimbursement

Current Needs:

• Shifts between 8am-8pm every day. The more availability you have, the more work you will get.
• Be ok with split shifts
• Caregivers willing to work with clients who smoke (both indoors and outdoors)
• Caregivers willing to work with pets in client's home and ok with some pet care
• Drivers who can transport in their own vehicle required
• Behavioral or memory care experience a plus
• Bilingual a plus

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments (driving required)
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• Our hiring process is fast and simple! Apply and the recruiter in your region will connect with you to schedule a phone interview. If hired, you will be scheduled for orientation at your branch. Once you have completed onboarding, orientation, and training, you can start working with clients!
• Oregon only – If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!

Requirements

• 18 years+
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely.
• Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Able to transport clients in their own vehicle
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
• Have a valid drivers license, auto insurance, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle
