Job summary

Home Instead in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Service Coordinator to join our caring team. You will create and manage client and Care Professional schedules, resolve conflicts, and document activities in our software.

You’ll communicate with clients, families, and staff, assist with new client inquiries, and help prepare for Care Consultations while delivering compassionate, high-quality in-home care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of related scheduling, customer service, healthcare, or admin experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized, dependable, proactive and solution-oriented.
• Ability to manage competing priorities calmly and confidently.
• Professionalism, discretion and sound judgment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and occasional evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage client and Care Professional schedules with a focus on quality matches and continuity of care
• Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts, call-outs, and last-minute changes
• Communicate compassionately with clients, families, Care Professionals, and team members
• Maintain accurate records and document activities within company software
• Develop contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted client care
• Identify opportunities to enhance services and support client satisfaction
• Assist with new client inquiries and prepare for Care Consultations
