Job summary

Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care in the Williamston area, with shifts Monday-Wednesday-Friday 9am-12:30am and Tuesday & Thursday 11am-3pm.

The home care aide delivers basic nursing care in clients' residences, assisting with hygiene, transfers, meals, and companionship, while maintaining records and confidentiality. This role emphasizes dependability and teamwork with supervising nurses and therapists.

Qualifications

• Maintain DFS certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Prepare meals with dietary considerations.
• Maintain complete and accurate records.
• Report changes in client condition.
• Follow Plan of Care; do not administer medications.
• Uphold patient confidentiality.
