Job summary

Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care in the Williamston area. Work hours are Mon/Wed/Fri 9:00 am–12:30 pm and Tue/Thu 11:00 am–3:00 pm.

You will perform direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, monitor health status, and document changes. No medication administration; follow Plan of Care and EVV time sheets.

Qualifications

• Maintain DFS certification.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks.
• Empathetic attitude toward patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises as directed.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and diet.
• Provide companionship and activities.
• Light housekeeping as assigned.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Record changes in client condition.
• Follow Plan of Care and EVV time sheets.
• Uphold patient confidentiality.
• Never administer medications.
