Comcast Advertising in Rutland, VT is hiring a Residential Installation & Service Technician. You will install broadband services, troubleshoot voice/video/data, and ensure a positive customer experience in customers’ homes.

The role requires physical work, flexibility for nights, weekends, and overtime, and adherence to safety standards. The position offers $22.00/hour, quarterly bonuses, and day‑1 benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage, PTO, holidays, and cable-service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to perform physical installations and service calls.
• Able to work at heights and in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential installations, service changes, and disconnects safely.
• Diagnose and resolve issues from the network to customer equipment.
• Install and support basic home networks using coaxial cable, Ethernet, and Wi‑Fi.
• Accurately document completed work and update customer accounts using digital tools.
• Maintain, clean, and stock assigned vehicle and equipment; follow safety practices.
