Job summary

Comcast in Virginia is seeking an entry-level broadband installation technician to install and troubleshoot voice, video and data services in customers’ homes and neighborhoods, delivering a positive experience.

You’ll work with safety in mind, follow established procedures, operate ladders and basic tools, and meet performance standards. The role offers $18.20/hour base pay, quarterly bonuses, Day 1 benefits, and opportunities for advancement with training and certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to complete safety protocols and certifications.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot broadband services in customers’ homes.
• Diagnose issues and verify service quality using testing tools.
• Educate customers on products and usage.
• Maintain vehicle, safety practices, and proper documentation.
• Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime when needed.
