Comcast Corporation in Vermont’s Bennington area is seeking an entry-level Residential Installation & Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot voice, video, and internet services in customers' homes. This hands-on role offers paid training, progression to independence, and benefits from day one.

The position requires performing field work, following safety and electrical codes, and working a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Entry-level field role with paid training and required certifications.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential installations, service changes and disconnects following safety codes.
• Diagnose issues from network to customer equipment and resolve them.
• Install and support basic home networks (coax, Ethernet, Wi‑Fi) per needs.
• Verify service quality using testing tools and adjust for reliability.
• Educate customers on products, services and device usage.
• Document work and update customer accounts using digital tools.
• Maintain and inspect vehicle, tools, and equipment; report safety concerns.
• Operate ladders, meters, and power tools safely; work at heights up to 26 ft.
• Drive company vehicle and maintain valid driver’s license; complete required training.
