Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services Inc. in Brookdale, CA is hiring entry-level Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in home, clinic, or school settings.

You will work 1:1, focusing on communication, social, and daily living skills through structured, play-based activities. No prior certification required to apply, but you must complete a 40-hour RBT training before start; 6 months of related experience preferred; we cover exam costs if you pass on first attempt and provide ongoing

Qualifications

• Must complete a 40-hour RBT training course prior to employment.
• RBT certification is not required to apply, but the 40-hour training must be completed before your start date.
• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a must.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus.
• Preferred: RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification, or related ABA training certificates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support through tailored activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAS.
• Collect and record data on client progress accurately.
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
• Sessions take place in the child’s home, clinic, or school, lasting 2–3 hours.
