Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services in California is hiring Behavior Technicians (part-time) to work 1:1 with children who have autism or developmental delays in home, clinic, or school settings. Schedules run Monday–Friday, 2–8pm, with 2–3 hour sessions based on availability.

We offer paid onboarding and training, with RBT certification support within 6 months. This role provides meaningful work helping children develop communication, social, and daily living skills under BCBA supervision.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; access to ongoing training and certification in ABA.
• RBT certification preferred or required within 6 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support to children.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA(s).
• Collect and record data on client progress.
• Communicate regularly with families for updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings.
