Job summary
Burnett Therapeutic Services is seeking compassionate individuals for part-time Behavior Technician roles in California. You will work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays in-home or clinic settings, delivering structured, play-based activities to build communication and daily living skills.
You will follow BCBA-designed plans, collect progress data, and communicate with families. Entry-level candidates and certified RBTs are welcome; training and growth opportunities are
Qualifications
- Must have 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Preferred: Student or graduate in Psychology, Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field
- RBT/BCAT/ABAT certification or ABA paraprofessional training is a plus
- Must be 18+ years old and have reliable transportation, driver’s license, and auto insurance
- CPR & First Aid certification or willingness to obtain during onboarding
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one behavior support through structured, play-based activities
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA(s)
- Collect and record data on client progress accurately
- Communicate with families to provide updates and support
- Participate in ongoing training, meetings, and supervision sessions
