Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services is seeking part-time Behavior Technicians to work in-home in San Francisco. You will support children with autism through structured activities, 1:1 sessions, and progress data collection.

Training towards RBT certification is provided, with paid certification opportunities and supervision from BCBA staff. Sessions run 2–3 hours, typically in the child's home, clinic, or school, with flexibility to match your availability and age groups.

Qualifications

• Must complete a 40-hour RBT training course prior to employment.
• RBT certification required within 6 months of employment or maintain active BCAT/ABAT status.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, 18+ years old.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• CPR & First Aid certification or willingness to obtain during onboarding.
• Background check (FBI & DOJ) required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support through engaging, individualized activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA professionals.
• Collect and record data on client progress accurately.
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, meetings, and supervision sessions.
