Job summary

Thrive Behavior Centers LLC is hiring a Behavior Technician to support ABA therapy for children with autism. Position involves working one-on-one with clients under a BCBA, following prescribed programs and ensuring client safety during sessions.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, be able to lift 50 lbs, and obtain RBT certification within 60 days. Excellent teamwork and adherence to BACB ethics are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or have earned a GED.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Required to obtain RBT certification within the first 60 days of employment.
• Required to maintain RBT certification throughout employment.
• Required to alert your supervisor in writing six weeks prior to certification expiration.
• Required to uphold the ethical and supervision standards of the BACB.
• Required to have and maintain a current CPR/AED or BLS certification which must be accredited by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients one-on-one under the supervision of a BCBA, implementing therapeutic programs as prescribed.
• Continuously monitor the client throughout the session and ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Administer behavioral interventions and implement programs for various client needs.
• Build and maintain rapport with clients by pairing with reinforcement.
• Engage with clients during sessions and document progress accurately.
• Comply with safety protocols and Thrive policies at all times.

Education
