Job summary

Roots Wellness Center seeks an ARMHS Behavioral Health Practitioner to deliver in-home and telehealth mental health services in a Minnesota setting. The role emphasizes anti-oppressive and trauma‑informed practice while supporting staff and community partners to address disparities in behavioral healthcare.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences, 2,000+ supervised hours, and experience in MHCP-enrolled settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences or related field with 2,000+ hours of supervised experience.
• Fluent in the non-English language of the client subset served.
• Completed practicum or internship focused on adults or children.
• Working in an MHCP-enrolled adult or children’s day treatment program.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home services and telehealth as needed.
• Maintain a caseload with 15–20 billable hours (part-time) or 32 billable hours (full-time).
• Ensure compliance with DHS regulations.
• Document progress notes and contact with families or other providers.
• Coordinate services with other healthcare providers.
