Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide in-home and community-based ABA services. The role focuses on implementing behavior intervention plans, data collection, and collaboration with BCBA-led care teams in the Denver area.

The ideal candidate has autism/IDD experience, ABA knowledge, a high school diploma, and is at least 18 years old. In-person work with travel is required; schedule includes Mon–Fri with 20–40 hours/week and $22–$28 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
• Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination
