Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to support individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism, through in-home and community ABA services. You will follow BCBA plans, collect data, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.

This role requires 100% travel and is conducted in-person, with hours including weekdays and opportunities for both full-time and part-time employment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain confidentiality (HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.
• Utilize ABA techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination.
