Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services (BTS) in Rocklin, CA is hiring as a Behavior Technician on a part-time basis. You will work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays, delivering engaging activities to build communication, social, and daily living skills in home, clinic, or school settings.

Sessions are 2–3 hours with a tailored caseload matching availability. Must complete 40-hour RBT training prior to employment; RBT certification within 6 months is required or maintained through

Qualifications

• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children.
• 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a must.
• Preferred: Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field.
• Highly Preferred: RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification, or those who completed an ABA Paraprofessional training certificate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data on client progress accurately.
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
