Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services (BTS) in California is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays. Sessions occur in-home or in-clinic, typically lasting 2–3 hours, and scheduled 2–8pm, Monday to Sunday.

Compensation is $24–$25 per hour with mileage reimbursement and benefits for 30+ hrs/week. You will implement ABA plans, collect progress data, and communicate with families while growing in a supportive, mentorship-rich

Qualifications

• Active RBT/ABAT/BCAT certification is required for this position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• This job requires reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• This job requires a CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding).
• TB test, MMR & Varicella Immunization, and a Pre-employment Physical within the past year.
• Background check (FBI & DOJ) must be cleared.

Responsibilities

• Delivering one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities.
• Implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
• Collecting and recording data on client progress accurately.
• Communicating regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participating in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
