Job summary

Step Up Family Services LLC is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician (BT) to implement ABA programs for children with ASD in home and center-based settings. You will work under the direct supervision of a BCBA, delivering 1:1 therapy and collecting client progress data.

The role requires a high school diploma, and RBT certification is preferred with a deadline to obtain within 90 days if applicable. Flexible part-time schedule and travel to client homes offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• RBT certification preferred; must obtain within 90 days if applicable.
• Experience with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy under supervision by BCBA.
• Record and maintain data on client progress using data systems.
• Implement skill acquisition programs for communication, social, adaptive, and academic behaviors.
• Follow behavior reduction protocols designed by the BCBA.
• Assist with generalization of skills across settings and people.
• Provide reinforcement and prompting per the treatment plan.
• Maintain professional conduct per BACB guidelines (if applicable).
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the clinical team.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of clients at all times.
