Job summary

Step Up Family Services is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician (BT) to implement individualized ABA programs in home settings. You will work under the direct supervision of a BCBA to deliver 1:1 therapy to children with ASD and other developmental disabilities.

The role requires providing data-based progress notes, applying skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans, and communicating with families and the clinical team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
• RBT certification preferred; if not present, must be obtained within 90 days.
• Experience with children or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes or centers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Record and maintain accurate client progress data.
• Implement skill acquisition programs across communication and social domains.
• Follow behavior reduction protocols as directed by BCBA.
• Assist with generalization of skills across environments.
• Provide reinforcement and prompting per treatment plan.
• Participate in training, supervision, and team meetings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and clinical team.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of clients at all times.
