Job summary

Step Up Family Services LLC is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician (BT) to deliver in-home ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA. This part-time role supports children with autism and related developmental disabilities in their homes.

The technician will implement individualized treatment plans, collect data, and collaborate with families and the clinical team to foster skill acquisition and behavior reduction, while adhering to BACB guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred.
• RBT certification preferred; if applicable, must obtain within 90 days.
• Experience with children or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.
• Background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy as directed by the supervising BCBA, following individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies.
• Record and maintain accurate data on client progress using electronic data collection systems.
• Implement skill acquisition programs targeting communication, social, adaptive, and academic behaviors.
• Follow and apply behavior reduction protocols as designed by the BCBA.
• Assist with the generalization of skills across environments, people, and settings.
• Provide reinforcement, prompting, and other ABA techniques in accordance with the client’s treatment plan.
• Maintain professional and ethical conduct in accordance with BACB guidelines (if applicable).
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the clinical team.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of clients at all times.
