Job summary

Step Up Family Services seeks a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician (BT) to implement ABA programs for children with ASD in home and center settings. The role reports to a BCBA and requires collaboration with families and the clinical team.

You will collect progress data, follow treatment plans, and support clients in communication, social, adaptive, and academic goals while upholding BACB guidelines and ongoing supervision.

Qualifications

• Implement individualized ABA programs under BCBA supervision.
• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy and follow treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate data on client progress using data systems.
• Coordinate with families and clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy as directed by the supervising BCBA and follow treatment plans.
• Record and maintain accurate data on client progress using electronic data collection systems.
• Implement skill acquisition programs targeting communication, social, adaptive, and academic behaviors.
• Follow behavior reduction protocols as designed by the BCBA.
• Assist with generalization of skills across environments, people, and settings.
• Provide reinforcement, prompting, and other ABA techniques per the client’s plan.
• Maintain professional conduct in line with BACB guidelines (where applicable).
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the clinical team.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of clients at all times.
