Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications [required]
• Prior clinical experience, including shadowing and/or volunteering [preferred]
• Prior scribe or transcription experience [optional]

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters in a structured note, including history, assessment, plan, and exam
• Join the provider in the exam room to observe patient visits
• Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes; prepare After Visit Summaries
• Support clinical documentation improvement and care team tasks
